Our story: inspired by a mum, made for little imaginations
No Nasties Kids began in Australia in 2015. When founder Natalia’s daughter received play makeup for her fifth birthday, Natalia wanted an alternative that reflected the care she put into choosing products for her family.
That idea grew into a brand bringing together imaginative play, natural kids’ makeup and practical plant-based haircare. Today, families can discover No Nasties Kids in Australia and internationally, including here in the UK.

All No Nasties Kids cosmetic products sold on our UK website have passed the safety assessments required for sale in the UK and EU.
A cosmetic safety assessment considers the complete formula, how the product is used and the exposure to its ingredients. It also considers information such as stability, microbiological quality and any necessary instructions or warnings.
These assessments support safe use as directed. Always follow the individual product’s age guidance, instructions and precautions.

Non-toxic & clean beauty
If you are looking for clean beauty or non-toxic makeup for kids, look beyond the headline to the formula, safety information and directions. These terms are not a promise that a product can be swallowed or used in any way. Our cosmetics are for external use, as directed.
Hypoallergenic
Hypoallergenic does not mean allergy-free. Children can react to natural ingredients too. Check the ingredient list for known sensitivities and follow the product’s patch-testing advice before first use.
Vegan & cruelty-free
Our makeup, lip gloss, nail polish and haircare formulas are vegan and cruelty-free. Vegan describes the absence of animal-derived ingredients; cruelty-free relates to animal testing. Neither term means a product is free from every possible allergen.

Our pressed powders, lip gloss, nail polish and haircare products are made on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Their Australian origins are part of the No Nasties Kids story, alongside the cosmetic safety requirements that apply where they are sold.

Which age is each product suitable for?
Follow the age recommendation on the individual listing and packaging, including any guidance for accessories or small parts. Supervise children during use.
Why do some formulas contain preservatives?
Preservatives help protect a formula against microbial contamination. The safety assessment considers the finished product, including its preservative system, rather than judging an ingredient by its name alone.
Does natural mean fragrance-free?
No. A naturally scented product still contains fragrance ingredients. Check the specific formula if you are avoiding fragrance or a known allergen.
